Farm Stands Around Town

3 of my favorite farm markets around Scarsdale are:

Simply the Best, on Weaver Street- featuring fresh fruits, vegetables and beautiful flowers.  Their nursery carries a wide assortment of plants and trees for your garden.

Cherry Lawn, on Weaver Street, located on the border of Scarsdale and New Rochelle, also has fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods for lunch or dinner.  Their nursery offers beautiful plants, trees and gas for your propane tank.

Ramsey’s Farm, off of Palmer Avenue in Scarsdale, is a smaller farm stand with seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers.

All the markets offer the country appeal of suburban living!

Summer Treats in Scarsdale

The warm weather always brings the urge for frozen treats!  What a better way to be refreshed then having some frozen yogurt on Garth Road at go greenly.  Self-serve your favorite yogurt flavor and add the toppings.

Sit outside or take a walk on the Bronx River path as you enjoy your delicious yogurt.

Tasty Sushi at Haiku

If you’re looking for yummy sushi, check out Haiku in White Plains, Eastchester/Scarsdale or Mamaroneck.  The food and presentation is awesome. Hot Japanese food is always available for those that don’t want sushi.  Child friendly chop sticks make for a family friendly meal!IMG_1026

Wyatt Lily- Opens in Scarsdale

Infant to Tween Clothing Store comes to Scarsdale Village

A brand new clothing store opened on the corner of Popham and Chase in the Scarsdale Village.  Formerly, Gingerbread Kidz occupied the space but when the owner retired, a new retailer moved in. No sign is posted on the store yet.  Wyatt Lily originated in NYC and has now expanded to Scarsdale.  The store offers unique clothing for the infant to tween group.  Come check out the funky styles for both boys and girls.
